SPECS: OS: Android v4.? (not sure how to find the version) Web Browser: Firefox for Android v.26

PROBLEM: According to what I have read when searching for help there is supposed to be an icon that looks like three virtical dots (next to the bookmark icon (star in the upper right side of the browser)) which, when clicked is supposed to show the main menu. On my screen there is no such icon for the main menu at all anywhere on the screen. (If someone can post instructions on how to show a screenshot in this thread, I could provide one).

QUESTIONS: 1.) How can the main menu icon be foeced to be shown? 2.) Is there any other way to access the main menu in the Android version of firefox if that "3 dot" icon is missing?

NOTE: about:config appears to have been crippled in the Android version of firefox such that there appears to be no way to list all the settings as once, as was the default view in the desktop version of firefox.
