Morning people again..

I asked yesterday and got a reply, THANK YOU, but I cannot reply to that person as Outlook is really being silly.

I tried, and only succeeded in deleting that email.

I believe I have an "old" Thunderbird program on this laptop, and even though I have downloaded the New version, it is picking up that old version, from about 2023.

OK, my IT nerd neighbour is coming over later, and she will wave her "magic wand" and see what is going on.

I know the IMAP, POP etc codes for Outlook, and manually changed them last night, still the login via T Bird fails.

I can read replies, and suggestions, but I CANNOT reply to you. Frustrating, heck yes, and almost rude on my part, but NOT my doing.

I really like the Firefox browser and use it daily for my daily reports. But while it shows on the taskbar on the bottom of my screen, I cannot get Firefox onto my home screen. Could someone please help me fix it!

I began getting the above message immediately after updating to the latest Firefox version. Whether opening a new tab, or refreshing an existing one, nothing but the crash message shows up.

HI. On debian 12.8 snap installation of thunderbird, the import from previous profile fails to import messages. I think the problem is because the install procedure creates the subfolder of ImapMail and Mail with the permission 555 instead of 755 or similar.

Feature request: a way to easily backup & restore settings, allowing clean reinstallation without having to manually enter frequently used sites into the search settings.

I downloaded the Firefox installer from the official website (https://www.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/download/thanks/). After downloading, I checked the SHA256 hash of the file: 051deb55cf9579e1f9b3bad71ec4a390353c568ef21849671953d08343b4e890.

However, this hash does not match any of the hashes listed on the official page: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/133.0.3/SHA256SUMS.

Additionally, a VirusTotal scan flagged the file with a potential virus alert.

Could you clarify why there might be a discrepancy in the hash and whether this file could be legitimate?

I downloaded and installed Thunderbird for Android on my mobile (OnePlus Open) and imported my settings from my Thunderbird desktop. All four of my accounts showed up in the mobile app. During this process, the "Log In" button was grayed out. However, all I'm seeing is "Unified Inbox" and "Outbox" folders, and no email. What login or installation step am I missing?

Does that sound right? Is there any place to check that the fingerprints match?

Randomly one day my Firefox iOS app crashed and everytime I started it up it would crash instantly. I deleted the app and cleared all data and reinstalled but didn’t fix the issue.

Does anyone know how do I can get my feeds back? I hope all my saved feeds are still stored somewhere as I use them for research. I just went to look something up and the whole heading is totally gone!

Hello,

as the title states I did an update which automatically moved me to ESR. There was no warning given whatsoever that the profil, booksmarks basically everything would be deleted.

I checked every Mozilla Firefox file I could find (main drive, app data, default profil) - and could find nothing dated before today at all.

I need all that information back - yesterday. How do I do that?

PS: Oh, and please no comments on why use an old OS. I also have Win10 - it can't handle what runs on this old system. :)
