This annoying message pops onto my screen almost every time I change pages on Firefox. It may even be every time. It has gotten on my last nerve. Please tell me how to get rid of it. Thank you.

This is usually done via JavaScript that runs on the page and checks for an onbeforeunload event.

It is usually not possible to disable such a message. You should only see such a message of some pages and not always.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
