What does sync do?
I am reluctant to install new options when it's not clear what they are supposed to do and what effects they may have.
I have four computers all using Thunderbird and Firefox if I install sinc what will happen to what ever is sinced when there are differences between lists etc?

Thunderbird and Firefox are two different, independent software applications. As far as I know there is no sync function for Thunderbird yet. I have to guess you are asking about a Firefox function in a Thunderbird forum. Here is what I can find about Firefox sync. If that does not answer your questions I would suggest that you take your question to the Firefox forum.

Thanks. Exactly what I was looking for. I must have missed the explanation when I did my upgrades. -AWL-
