Looking in Error Console I have a couple of hundred messages like -

Security Error: Content at moz-nullprincipal:{6c084911-285f-46e2-9115-bf33ca9bdc83} may not load or link to mailbox:///home/mick/.thunderbird/80svqf7o.default/Mail/Local%20Folders/Archive.sbd/WorkStuff.sbd/Projects.sbd/Stryker?number=56712308&header=filter&emitter=js&part=1.4&filename=doclink.gif.

The actual numbers are different but the messages are of the same format. What causes it? How can I fix it?

Clear the error console. Seriously there is nothing there worth reading about unless you have an issue and you still need to clear it to get a message that might be relevant when you try and do whatever is not working. The normal state of the error console is lost of errors. RSS feeds in particular fill the space with errors.

I have cleared the log and tried again, but I still have a problem. I am trying to run Awesome Auto Update and it is not working, and it seems that it is the autosyncActivities program that is causing the problems rather that Awesome Auto Update itself. The error that I now see are -

Timestamp: 24/08/14 13:26:28 Error: 2014-08-24 13:26:28 autosyncActivities ERROR onDownloadCompleted: TypeError: this._syncInfoPerFolder[folder.URI] is undefined Source File: resource:///modules/gloda/log4moz.js Line: 693 Timestamp: 24/08/14 13:26:28 Error: this._syncInfoPerFolder[folder.URI] is undefined Source File: resource:///modules/activity/autosync.js Line: 300

these are repeated 4 times, then

Timestamp: 24/08/14 13:26:28 Error: this._syncInfoPerFolder[folder.URI] is undefined Source File: resource:///modules/activity/autosync.js Line: 300

repeated about every 10 minutes.

Any ideas what to do to fix these?

I have no idea what Awesome Auto Update is and on this occasion Google is no help at all.

Awesome Auto Update is an add-on, but I believe that autosyncActivities is part of standard Thunderbird, and that is what is generating the errors
