I'm using latest aurora version in Kubuntu 14.04. I want to achieve the "tabs on titlebar" look (like in windows or chrome). I have disabled the titlebar on firefox from KDE, but of course now I have no minimize, maximize and close buttons. I attempted using the Htitle Addon, but it only works well on Gnome. That addon adds the window controls I need, but I can't enable it due to some problems when I maximize-minimize the window. So is there a way to add those buttons to the tabs bar? I remember in previous versions those buttons were available from the customize mode.

So, finally, after searching some more I found that this addon: Hide Caption Titlebar Plus does just what I need. Thanks for the help anyways :)

I believe an update just went out 33.a2, but I am not sure if it is available in linux version yet.

In the windows and mac version the max and min buttons are still there. However I think that there is an add on that moves specific elements, but evidently after trying does not move the max and min buttons. LittleFox addon advertises this fix.

You can also look at the latest version of the Classic Theme Restorer extension that has a setting in the General UI section.

  • Replace page context menu icons with labels (back, forward, stop, reload, bookmark page)

So, as I understand from reading the forum link you listed, there's a feature which should automatically add the buttons on the tab bar|menu bar when I hide the titlebar? Littlefox doesn't do the job. Maybe I'm not hiding the titlebar correctly? I will try a new profile to see if it works.
