Suddenly I am not able to send messages to my group lists - usually use the Bcc line, but can't even do it using the To line.
Yesterday I sent messages to groups list using the Bcc line. Today that will not work. I get a message that says "such and such" is not a valid e-mail address because it is not of the form user@host.
Tried doing a small group list using the "to" line and that resulted in the same message.
Thanks for help!

Right click the list in the address book and remove any spaces in the name (insert underscores instead so it is still readable) There is a bug in Version 31.1 which messes up list names with a space in them
I tried leaving out the spaces and inserting underscores instead. Still doesn't work, and I get the same message: the address is not in the form of user@host.
Help! It worked two days ago!

This has been reported as Bug #1060901. If you have an account on Bugzilla, please consider voting for that issue.
Several other people have sent in the same support request as you, noting this happened after they upgraded to version 31.1.
Besides what Matt mentioned there are two other workarounds. Although not ideal, they have been confirmed and will get you back to a functional setup.
- While composing an email open the address book and select the list you are trying to send to, highlight all the names in the list and drag them to the To: box. This uses your existing data without modifying it.
- Downgrade to a previous version and disable automatic updates (Windows)
Let us know if you choose to reinstall a previous version and need help with that.
