My hard drive crashed and everything had to be retrieved and reinstalled. I have a folder of old Firefox data but can't find the 'date.json' file that is indicated to open in the troubleshooting instructions. Is there another option?

Hello,

If you have the latest Firefox version, the places.sqlite file is what holds your bookmarks. Please see the article Recover important data from an old profile for more information.
