How the hell do you know how many messages I have on Facebook?

I decided to check on the "tiles," about which I knew nothing before now. Today, I noticed that Firefox knows exactly the number of messages I have at Facebook. If my collected data is in the aggregate, without any identifying information, how the hell do you know this? Opting out now, but I am very surprised to learn this.

Chosen solution

This is because Facebook puts the number of messages in the title bar. Firefox simply copies that information every time you access facebook and updates the tile. It isn't sent to Mozilla, and it's just saved on your local computer. There is no privacy breach going on here :)
