ever since the latest update firefox v36, the bookmarks toolbar had been appearing above the address bar, it used to be below the address bar.

the old sequence: menu bar, address bar, bookmarks toolbar, tabs

current sequence: menu bar, , bookmarks toolbar, address bar, tabs

how do i make it to the old sequence.

First you need the Classic Theme Restorer add-on, then you just need customize the toolbars, go to View >> Toolbars >> Customize..., you can drag in drop them and reorder the toolbars.

There are other things that need your attention.

Your System Details list shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time Firefox starts. The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be there.

You can check its content with a plain text editor (right-click: "Open with"; do not double-click). The user.js file is read each time Firefox is started and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.

You can delete the user.js file if you didn't create this file yourself.

Try to rename (or delete) the xulstore.json file in the Firefox profile folder. You may also have to reset the browser.uiCustomization.state pref on the about:config page.
