My spam filter always gets spam never has it gotten an email I want to keep. So how can I automatically have it sent to trash - I don't want to keep manually delete-ing the hundred or more spam mails a day.

Chosen solution

Tools menu (Alt+T) > Account settings > junk settings (for the account) set the folder to the deleted folder or set the automatically delete days to only a couple so you can still check if you want to.
