Odd font differentiation between Chrome and Firefox, can this be changed?
So I want to come back to firefox, I have been using Chrome instead because of a particular issue I had way back when but appears fixed now. However I now have another issue. Some text, most notable when using the google search engine is less than clear in firefox but perfectly clear in chrome.
The issue appears to be with smaller text and I have tried some options that I found in my research into the issue.
To make things easier I have tried updating my graphics card driver.
I have changed the zoom in windows itself which Firefox now as I understand it derives its zoom from, this makes it clearer but almost looks blurry.
I have attemped to adjust the setting in about:config - layout.css.devPixelsPerPx but no change.
From my understanding it seems to have to deal with how Firefox reacts to HiDPI displays (My current main display is an HDTV)
I attached a screenshot comparing Chrome (On the left) and Firefox (On the right) there cannot be denied that the fonts are different at the very least. It could be something simple like Chrome tells websites what font to have and it displays it that format. And all I have to do is do the same in firefox. But I wanted to know if I was alone and if not how they resolved their issue.

It would not load when I posted the question so the image that I promised is below
Though I just noticed it on my second monitor seeming not affected, this may be a display issue, for now just looking to see if this is a issue for anyone else.
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.
