I email friends and I keep a list of email addresses on a saved email. I copy and paste these saved email addresses onto my new email as bcc and send. None of these bcc emails are sent and none are received by my friends. Only one address seems to be sent and that is the last one of the group. Is this method not possible in Mozilla? Do I need to use another method? Allan

Chosen solution

I don't know why your method isn't working. It seems a bit long-winded and maybe the copy-and-paste operation is part of the trouble.

Alternatives:

  • Set up a separate address book for this group of recipients. Use the Contacts Sidebar, select them all (ctrl+a), use "Add to Bcc:"
  • Set up a Mailing List for this group. Address your message using the Mailing List in place of all the individual addresses
  • Create a template with the names all filled in ready to use.
  • Use your current method, but use "Edit As New" to re-use the existing message without having to transfer the addresses.

Thanks mate. I now have the problem solved. Actually I solved it before your email but you confirmed my action. Much appreciated.
