Hello there,

Since i have been using Firefox, i am very satisfied. In my case it is faster and better as any other browser. There is just one problem: When i download any file of the internet, Firefox puts the file in the Local Temp folder. I have changed the download folder from downloads to documents, but it still puts all download in the Local Temp folder. Can you help me?

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-fix-preferences-wont-save Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.

It is possible that security (anti-virus) software is causing problems with downloading files by Firefox and prevents Firefox from moving the file from the %temp% folder to the destination folder. Try to disable scanning files in real-time in security (anti-virus) software temporarily to see if that makes a difference.
