Hi I haven't accessed my account for several months, and have forgotten my sync data password. I have saved my firefox profile folder from my old pc, but again can't remember sync password. My understanding is that if I reset password all saved sync data is lost and replaced with data stored on local pc. I will eventually install files from saved profile folder on new pc. I have read the article on how to do this. thanks

hi, you can reset your sync password through https://accounts.firefox.com/reset_password - as you've said, this will render all your account data stored on the sync server unusable...
