At startup a extra tab is opened. How do I get rid of that so I only have my startup page?

When I start the Foxfire application on my pc it auto opens an extra tab? How do I get rid of the extra tab. I tried closing it and restarting but it is still there? This is more frustrating than a major problem. Thanks

Hi, Firefox is able to open multiple home pages with the URLs separated by a 'pipe' (|), so please see - How to set the home page, and in 'Home Page,' make sure that in addition to your home page URL (the Firefox start page is about:home but you may have set a different one, or the New Tab page, which is about:newtab) it doesn't have anything else - if it does, just delete it.

If it's easier, you can just click on Restore to Default instead.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.
