I am using Thunderbird 38.4.0 on Mac and would like to use Windows shortcuts like Ctrl^C, ^V, ^A, ... Unfortunately it doesn't work with keyconfig. Doese somebody know a solution for this or is there an alternative, which runs with new versions of Thunderbird?

Thanks for any hint!

As far as I'm aware, if you use a MAC OS then you have to use the appropriate keys for that Operating System.

eg: Mac OS X uses Cmd instead of Ctrl as the accelerator key.

Hi, thanks for your answer! On a mac you can change the Cmd ^C to Ctrl ^C for all applications. This works fine for most software but not for thunderbird. So I thought I can just install the addon keyconfig define the Ctrl ^C there and it works also for thunderbird. But it doesn't even if this add on has exactly been written for that. I assume my thunderbird version is not supported by the quite old keyconfig. Therefore my question. Thanks & Best Regards
