1st off your images upload won't see the jpg picture files that I screen captured. So I am going to have to use Dropbox. Anyways. As you can see in the 1st picture https://www.dropbox.com/s/jy8u0gn36emfbkx/apk%20error.jpg?dl=0 the APK downloader with the red box around it is setup. But look at the next picture https://www.dropbox.com/s/m6sdqagfk2txxq7/apk%20error1.jpg?dl=0 When I click on the APK downloader button to start the download to my pc the button (now gray with the red box around it)* just sits there and nothing happens. There is no indication anywere on FireFox that any kind of file transfer has started and the file never gets downloaded. I have used this download add-on before and it has worked very well in the past. The laptop that I am borrowing right now (until I get mine back) is an Acer Aspire 5749 OS Win7 Home 32bit. I have done this setup before and I don't know why it isn't working this time.

  • I added the red box in each picture.

The APK downloader button disappears. But Firefox still works 100%. There must be something I missed in the setup. I am still looking for an Android app that will not only tell me what version of Android I have in my phone beyond just the v4.4.2 . Is it a KitKat 4.4 sdk 19 or a sdk 20. All the phone says in the "about phone" sub menu is "Android version 4.4.2".
