When browsing and insurance website, I try to download a PDF file, but Firefox is unable to download it. Instead I get a download of an HTML file with garbage contents. Other browsers (Chrome, Edge) have no problem with the download. Why?

Is the problem with many sites, some, a few? Do you get any kind of error messages? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Issues_with_Firefox#Downloading_opening_or_saving_files https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can

No Error messages. Currently having problem with one site only, but that site works fine with other browsers. Suspect a problem with the linkage between Firefox and its PDF reader, although many other PDFs download just fine when coming from other sites.
