i use xp i received a email with a pdf file attached when i open it and try to print it it wants to be saved and not print. how can i print it? i tried to go to file and to advanced but did not find print as image.

Thunderbird has no idea what a pdf files is. so it needs the adobe pdf viewer. What works and does not work in the viewer is something you would have to take up with adobe.
