In the years past, it was possible to follow online guides with which to compel firefox to open a magnet link. Now, every guild is broken, and no avenues remain open. There is literally zero way to open one of these links without cut and paste. To add insult to injury, all mention of "magnet" appears to have been scrubbed from non-archived posts here. No search results... really?

1) No way to force Firefox to ask which applications that I would like to use.

2) Magnet missing entirely from the "applications" menu

3) Cannot manually add an about:config key for a default magnet application

4) Cannot set network.protocol-handler.expose.magnet to me false and have it prompt, it now does jack squat.

tldr; This vapid, buggy browser has backslid and devolved further away from usefulness. Pathetic.

I use magnets all the time. No problems unless the link is bad. Can you post a public link to the web pages with these links?
