The URL/Address bar along with the search bar & basic tool icons seems to have gone into an "auto-hide" mode. It is visible in a new tab but not for tabs already in use. Moving the cursor to that area makes it appear but I wish it to always be visible FF V49.0.2 on a Win 10 platform. This is a recent change to behaviour. I cannot find the appropriate entry in about:config (not sure what i am looking for) or in Customise

Hi   !

In   Customise   :  'Show/Hide Toolbars'   (at the bottom of that page).

That activity is sometimes caused by an auto-hide add-on.

Hi, you may be in Full Screen Mode: Point to the top of the screen, then right click > Exit Full Screen Mode. You can also press the F11 key, but depending on the configuration of your computer, you may also need to hold down Fn at the same time. More - Use Firefox in Full Screen mode.

The Full Screen button should also be in the 3-bar menu. More - Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.
