when I click in Programs and Features in Win7, the uninstall does NOT work for the old 47.0.2

further, I can NOT find out how to put Kaspesky back, in the newy installed 50.1.0 (if i cannot, then i will have to find another non-Mozilla browser! i.e., for me, Kaspersky is more important than Firefox, though otherwiase I like Firefox)

further, further, i don't want the new auto-suggest feature; i want the old system back!!!!

Chosen solution

Is that a 32 bit Firefox 47 version or a 64 bit version since you currently use a 64 bit Firefox 50 version?

Is that version still present if you check this in "C:\Program Files (x86)?

  • (32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
  • (64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"

These problems finally got resolved by using System Restore and making a new download of Firefox 50, which happily now includes KIS!
