Crash, który spowodował usunięcie ważnej historii
Witam. Piszę do Państwa w takiej sprawie. Pozdrawiam
Hello. I am writing to you in such a case. So on Sunday something started to happen with my Firefox. Pages have been slowed down so that in the end there was no way to select individual options, such as entering your profile on facebook, or clicking on a bookmark. When this happened, I turned off Firefox for reboot, and because it might help, and as it turned out to be a "crash" I lost all history where I had important pages. And now I have neither the old pages I went to, nor the important ones from the university. Is there a way to "get" the browser's history? There were even things with more than 6 months. Regards

The only way to restore deleted history is by restoring an older copy of places.sqlite. Note that this files stores bookmarks and history, so your bookmark will be reset as well.
You can check in Windows Explorer if there is a previous version of the file available.
- right-click: Properties -> Previous Versions

Places Maintenance is an extension that can check the places.sqlite database for errors.
You would have to install this extension to use it.
There is also a button further down on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" page (about:support) to do a similar integrity check on places.sqlite.

Bookmarks are what?
Places Maintenance {web link} Allows to run Maintenance tasks on the database that drives Places, the bookmarks and history module behind Firefox.
Open the Add-ons Manager. Locate the add-on and press the Options button. Then follow the directions.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Safe Mode didn't help me. I do not understand any of this with Places Maintenance. Could it be someone to write somehow step by step, or a movie?

Sincerely? I do not understand anything. I am a lazy among these things. Can you somehow step by step to ask, possibly in the form of a file? Because I typically do not know where to enter etc
