why doesnt youtube work?

when i google something and it give me a video option i click on it. it takes me to YouTube, but all that loads is a black screen and the rest is white. there is no writing and in my address bar it says everything is working just fine. adds with video in them work just fine but when i go to YouTube, click on a video, i get a black video screen & and everything else is white, no writing, no play button, how do i fix this.

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...

You have several YouTube add-ons. They could be the problem.

i did the safemode and disabled everything and it worked. so i rebooted with everything working and started disabling things till i figured out what was making it not work and it was this addon that firefox told me to add when youtube wasnt working the first time.
