Why does a website have to be "reloaded" on Firefox for video to become accessible ?

In several placest at the website page ( http://www.outersecrets.com/real/biblecode2a.htm ), Adobe Shockwave Flash is required. I have the Adobe Shockwave Flash ( Ver 27.0.0.183 ) installed in Firefox, and it is set to be "Always active".

If I startup Firefox and go to the above website, all flash videos are working except one which requires a mouse click to enable, the one that is located below the yellow words "TORAH CODES". Instead what I get here is nothing but the background image.

However, if I then click on the Firefox "Reload current page" option, this corrects the problem and the video preview image appears. Meanwhile, this two time page loading requirement does not become a requirement if I instead use the Microsoft Edge browser.

No idea. The page HTML code has only 1 error in it https://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.outersecrets.com%2Freal%2Fbiblecode2a.htm&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0 that should not cause the issue commented on, the CSS code is correct.

It could be the video card drivers as they are from driverDate: 3-11-2013 and supplied by Windows 10 as the card is so old.

Since you are not having issues on other pages not sure. So Firefox 57 Quantum releases Nov 14th How about seeing if this upgrade cures the issue and if not come back and will try to figure it out. Since is only 1 site, i item it is hard to nail down.

You could turn off Video Acceleration see if that improves anything : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/performance-settings?as=u&utm_source=inproduct

Other option since the video card/drivers are so old is to move to the Extended Release Version https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/ which people with older hardware move to.

Note : Firefox 57 Quantum release date Nov 14th https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/quantum/ Note : Legacy Extensions will be disabled and or removed.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
