The new bouncy stuff will irritate or set off anyone with epilepsy. It has triggered me and I may have to stop using Firefox because of it.

this latest update is causing me visual issues. if a person has epilepsy it is going to trigger an attack in them. I love firefox until this latest update but for my health may have to stop using it. Some scanners at grocery chains do the same thing and it is not pleasant. Can you please fix this issue at least on my computer..I am sure you will have other complaints. Thank You

Support Volunteers can't make changes to Firefox and the developers do not directly monitor this site. To submit suggestions for new or changed features, may I suggest:

Feedback: https://qsurvey.mozilla.com/s3/FirefoxInput/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Firefox Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/firefox

There also is a forum run by the Add-ons team where you may see talk about potential future capabilities of extensions to modify the UI (initially limited to colors, I think, but perhaps more down the road): https://discourse.mozilla-community.org/c/add-ons

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Hi

Thank you for your question.

I have raised this with the developers who have advised that you can turn off the animations in Firefox quantum with a small change:

  1. Type about:config in the address bar
  2. Search for toolkit.cosmeticAnimations.enabled
  3. Double click on the entry that is displayed to change it to false

I hope that this helps but if not, please come back here and we can file a bug to make some changes for you.
