I can edit a bookmark (if page doesn't redirect to a different URL) but I can't edit the URL of an existing bookmark. I used to be able edit a bookmark's URL in older versions of Firefox. How can the bookmark URL be edited?

Using right-click > Properties is still the standard approach for the bookmark menu, toolbar, and sidebar. However, that may not work on the consolidated "Library" menu.

There is a "real" bookmarks menu button for the toolbar. You can add it from Customize, or use the "Library" button as described in the article linked below:
