I have to gmail accounts and the one, I have to always type my password , and the other one doesn't ask for a password, why is this ?

I would like to be able to type my password on both my gmail accounts when I access them on Thunderbird, but the one never asks me to submit my password only when I actually send an email. can I change this as I feel for security reasons I should type the password every time I access my account. Thank You

Please add the troubleshooting information to your post To find the Troubleshooting information:
