How to print multiple copies automatically?
My problem is very simple. Yet could not find a solution!
I need to print 3 copies every time I print using Firefox. Am using a ticket printer. All printer properties & preferences have been set to 3 copies. I double checked that.
When I print in Firefox, the print dialog box shows 1 copy. I manually have to increase it to 3 each time. I thought Firefox would have read the 3 copies setting from my printer, but no.
I thought if a manually put it 3 in the printing dialog box for the first time, Firefox will save it when I print again, but no. It reverts back to 1.
So each time I print I have to manually increase it to 3. How can I solve this annoying issue?

Would you please take a look at this article, and scroll down to the copies section :

The article did not help me.
I changed my number of copies to 3. Printed it. Repeated same process again. Number of copies is back to 1 instead of 3.
Meanwhile all printer properties and preferences have 3 copies as setting.
Am using Firefox 52.2.0. Got the same problem on Firefox 60.
How to solve this?
I'm not aware of any setting to change the default number of copies listed in the Print dialog. Occasionally people report that theirs defaults to a number higher than 1, but no explanation was reported for it. Possibly there is a hidden/optional preference, but web searches have not turned one up. It may be a question of how compatible Firefox is with a particular printer driver.
Found another way to bypass this problem. No luck at all with the saved copy setting in print dialog box.
Do you want to post your solution/workaround for reference by others?
Well, I had to modify my POS software to print multiple copies.
1 tab prints the ticket for the client.
Another program ran in another tab prints a second ticket.
Still trying to print a 3rd ticket.
