Could it be a permission issue? When you're on the site, try this:

Call up the Page Info dialog. Either:

  • Ctrl+i (for Mac, Command+i)
  • (menu bar) Tools > Page Info
  • right-click a blank area of the page > View Page Info

When the dialog comes up, click the Permission icon at the top to show that panel.

If "Share the Screen" shows an effective Block permission, uncheck the box for "Use default" and click Always Ask. Then the site should be able to trigger a permission request the next time.
