Hi,

I'm now using Thunderbird to access my gmail data but I failed to import the contacts. I tired manually exporting Gmail contacts through a CSV file, it creates the contact folder but then import fails: - either the folder is empty - either I only get " and nothing else - either only few contacts appear but incomplete

I also tried to install TbSync but I'm not sure how to use it and if it will do the job I tried to look at already asked questions but didn't find my luck...

I use Thunderbird 78.9.0 I have a lot of contacts (>2,000) as they include my phone contacts as well

Thanks for suggestions!

Vincent

After TbSync and Provider for CalDAV & CardDAV are installed, double-click extensions.dav4tbsync.googlesupport to true in Config. editor to enable Google accounts. Cookies should be allowed in TB Options/Privacy & Security for OAuth2 authentication.

CardBook can also sync Google Contacts, with the added benefit of syncing Contacts labels
