Hey!

I hope this is the right place to report possible bugs. Thanks for Thunderbird, it really helps keep my email sorted!

I needed to sort through my folders and remove some to archive. I had to many on "level 1" (i.e. directly under Inbox). I created one folder called "OldStuff" on "level 1" and then tried to drag four other level1-folders into "OldStuff". But only two folders obeyed this command. Trying to pull more folders into "OldStuff" didn't work. Creating a new folder in "OldStuff" after the initial dragging was however possible. My fix for this at the moment was to create a Level2-folder in "OldStuff" called "StillOld". And dragging folders into this Level2-folder ("StillOld") was possible without limit.

I can't see how this is a feature... So I guess it's a bug in the level1-layer, that somehow drag'n'drop is limited.

Perhaps try using the archive feature of Thunderbird. But basically dragging folders of mail around works very poorly for most use cases. Individual mails works much better.

BTW Bug reports go in Bugzilla, but I do not think you have sufficient information for a developer to replicate the issue to make a bug report. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org

Related bugs would probably include much of those listed in the linked google search https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=dragging+folders+imap+site%3Abugzilla.mozilla.org but particularly
