with firefox, some pages on ebay & amazon do not display properly. While viewing paragraphs used for item descriptions, they are thrown to the left side of page in a 2 inch wide vertical column.

As a follow up, I already cleared cache & cookies a thousand times, reset firefox numerous times , turned of advanced tracking protection, nothing works. I'm told that my buyers who visit my ebay site from other PCs, do not witness this problem. Seems to be only me visiting my own sites who sees this problem. (paragraphs thrown to left side of page in a long 2" wide vertical column.) So basically it's my firefox browser on my pc that's creating the problem. It's as if my firefox browser is not syncing with webpages that I view.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Seems no one reads what I have posted about this problem. I clearly stated the cookies & cache have been cleared 10,000 times. Firefox has been reset 6 times. Nothing fixes the problem.

Did you read the whole post? There was more than just cookies and cache.

This usually means that CSS files are blocked or aren't loaded for other reasons.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content. You can click shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection. You can check the Web Console for relevant-looking messages about blocked content.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support to see if that has effect.

You can check the connection settings.

  • Settings -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":
