My text defaults to 'paragraph' giving me double spacing when I type several lines of type. When I switch over to 'body text' it doesn't stick. It reverts back automatically to 'paragraph'. I have opened preferences and turned off 'paragraph', but again it just reverts back to 'paragraph'

Please advise. Thanks, Clive Smith.

This has been a recurring problem after updates. Frustrating and time-consuming. But this usually works for me .... Menu/Preferences/HTML Style/uncheck "Use paragraph format instead of Body Text by default". Good luck.
