The home button has disappeared on the top task bar. To go to my home page, I now have to exit Firefox and reload it. How can I get it back?

I guess you are referring to a toolbar. Right-click on a toolbar and select Customise Toolbar. There is a Home icon you can drag to a toolbar.

Terry21 has the answer about the button but for future reference, you also have these options:

  • keyboard shortcut Alt+Home loads the home page in the current tab
  • keyboard shortcut Ctrl+N loads the home page in a separate new window
