T-Bird Address book is not accepting any manually entered addresses (contacts) nor any edits to existing contact. I enter "New Contact", click OK, then search for the new contact, and it does not appear. Same for edits to existing contacts.

Email and calendar work fine.

I'm running Windows 10, T-Bird 91.7.0

Any fixes?

Chosen solution

Export the address book to LDIF format, then open the profile folder from Help/More Troubleshooting, close TB, rename abook.sqlite to abook.sqlite.bak (if Personal Address Book is the problem), then restart TB, import the LDIF from Tools/Import, and move the imported contacts into Personal Address Book by drag and drop, and see if it works properly.

It worked on first attempt, thanks. You saved me from switching to another Contact manager.
