I have started getting lots of spam emails that Thunderbird is not identifying as spam. They go through to my Inbox. Thunderbird is identfying other emails as spam and correctly puts them in the spam folder.

Examples today are from Order-Shipment and Professional Who's Who.

Why is this happening and what can I do to stop it?

You need to manually mark (at least some) of those messages 'As Junk'. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-and-junk-spam-messages
