watching videos on YouTube consumes a lot of GPU

I don't know if this is normal in Firefox but when watching a video on YouTube the GPU usage of the window manager process goes from 0% to using 1/4 to a half of the available resources of the GPU(using Windows 10), this affects me a lot because I use a laptop and the battery discharges faster than normal, while in other browsers it has a more moderate use of the GPU watching the same video at the same resolution
