See the enclosed .png

Firefox provides no way in the UI to remove the garbage. It may also be responsible for F-fox leaving numerous .part files on my mac desktop.

Running 112.0.1. (Mac, Monterey).

Maybe revert to 111?

You probably need to edit handlers.json in the Firefox profile folder to remove this action. This file is in JSON format, so make sure that you do not break it.

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).
