syncing bookmarks between OS not devices.
Sync does not answer my needs. It only syns between devices. I need to sync bookmarks between Firefox on TWO operating systems on the SAME device.

Hi
Firefox Sync connects copies of Firefox, so you can have multiple copies of Firefox on the same or different devices and operating systems.
Thanks, but does it do everything in the one sync feature? And does it have to be done each time new bookmarks are added,,, or can it automatically sync them as added?
I dual boot a few laptops with Windows and openSUSE plus several versions of Firefox and Waterfox on those devices. see screenshot The current device is WIn 11 and openSUSE. If I add a bookmarks and or folders in Linux. Then reboot into Windows, the folders and bookmarks are there in Windows.

Maybe my English isn't clear enough! And I should have said I use Mac Pro. NOT Linex, windows or anything else. - - - I have TWO FireFoxs on TWO operating systems, (ONE ON EACH) and those are on ONE devise. I start up on the OS I need at the time. One FireFox (the older one I've been using) has a LOT of bookmarks from years of saving. The newer OS FireFox has only the newer bookmarks. How can I get them to combine? Will sync save to both when I bookmark something in each? Now the only way I can use my older bookmarks is to be running the older OS.
Hi
Regardless of the operating system, Firefox Sync will work between multiple operating systems on the same device and multiple copies of Firefox on the same operating system.
I'm going to try this one last time. If you do not understand English please DO NOT reply. I'm tired of getting answers to what I didn't even ask! - I use a Mac Pro. NOT Linex, windows or anything else.

I have TWO FireFox's working on TWO operating systems, (ONE ON EACH) and those two OS's are on ONE devise. I start up on the OS I need at the time. One FireFox (the older one I've been using) has a LOT of bookmarks from years of saving. The newer OS FireFox has only the newer bookmarks. I do NOT want to sync two Firefox programs. They both work just fine. I ONLY want to LINK the bookmark collections in each as I use them from one OS to the OTHER OS. - - - My question is only this. How can I get the bookmarks to combine? Will sync save bookmarks to both Firefox's when I bookmark something in each? Now the only way I can use my older bookmarks is to be running the older OS. I want ALL bookmarks in BOTH OS versions on the ONE device.
When you sign into Firefox Sync in both copies of Firefox on the two operating systems, the bookmarks from both copies of Firefox will be combined. You can choose to only sync bookmarks and this will create one collection of bookmarks being kept in sync across both copies of Firefox.
