Pinning a bookmark tile.

I can't seem to find a way to pin bookmark tiles on the homepage (new tab). I also want to stop recently visited site tiles from appearing there if possible. Homepage and Customize in Settings don't seem to have any options for that now. Android 14, Firefox 120.0.1, Pixel 7a phone.

Hi there, Firefox for Android does indeed have options to add bookmark tiles to your homepage, it's just a bit unintuitive right now. See Create a shortcut to a website on Firefox for Android for how to do that. As for stopping recently visited sites from showing up on the new tab page, that is unfortunately not something that can be done at this time. However, a recent poll from one of Mozilla's product managers did have that particular feature mentioned quite often.

Thanks for replying. I know how to add a bookmark to the home page, but I just need to pin the tile on the first screen so it doesn't go away from all the recently viewed (history) tiles pushing my added shortcuts down the line. It's kind of like your three default tiles that stay on the first screen (Google, Pocket and Wikipedia).
