Hello I have 2 comcast emails setup in Thunderbird I can send emails from one just fine but the other gives an error messages which are below.

Login to server smtp.comcast.net with username kd8idt@comcast.net failed.

Sending of the message failed. Unable to authenticate to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.comcast.net. Please check the password and verify the 'Authentication method' in 'Account Settings | Outgoing server (SMTP)'.

Please advise what to do?

I have no solution, but since you have two accounts, the problem might be that they are sharing the same SMTP setup. To verify this , check that you have two distinct SMTP server setups and the 'Description' field should be unique for each. Then, check the 'account settings' pane to verify that each is linked to the appropriate SMTP server.
