this interface uses pop3

When emails are pulled, I can see that it pulls, let's say, 50 messages, the notification shows 25 new messages but the inbox only shows 10. I have looked everywhere for the "missing messages" but don't see them anywhere. I have also had some people tell me that they sent an email response (so they were not entering the email address) and I don't see it.

What could cause these differences?

Does no one have any ideas on this? It seems like very odd behavior and we cannot locate the "missing" emails. We have looked in all the folders (which my wife has very few of), as well as doing a global search for some of them...Nothing shows up at all.

please post image showing what you are saying. I am guessing no one can imagine what you are saying.

I do suggest you use the compact command on the File menu (F10 will make the menu bar visible if it is hidden) That will test the integrity of the mail store file and rebuild the index of the mails in the file. Hopefully that will help.
