A few times now I've had a batch of incoming e-mails where the date, sender, header information are all there but the body of the e-mail shows: FXCG9w89iTyF8D70T5uihi9D instead of the message. I don't know what this means or why it happens. Can you explain and help me find a solution?

What is your Thunderbird version? What is your account type - POP or IMAP?

Thunderbird version 128.1.0esr (32-bit) account type is IMAP

You possibly experience the folder corruption problem described in this bug. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1890230

Try to repair the affected folder(s). Right-click the folder - Properties - Repair Folder
