Opening Many Pages from History

Is there a way to open many pages quickly from history?

Whenever I'm in history and I open a page, the history window closes. In order to open another page from the history I need to go back to menu > history, search through history again, and go from there. I want to open like 5 tabs real quick, as I imagine it 5 quick middle clicks in the history window without the history window closing. Is there any preference for this or extension?

You can select all those pages in the usual way via Ctrl plus left-click and use the right-click context menu to open the selected URLs in tabs. For the bookmarks there is a pref in about:config to keep the bookmarks menu open.
