how can I set my printer to stop printing blank pages?

It started at 3.6.10 update in FF. Now, printing blank pages. About:config does not show with a list of preferences. I can't find any preferences. Using XP

Lowercase a = about:config

Try a reset of all preferences for that printer as described here:
