firefox4 on vista64. tab groups I created last session appeared lost when I hit the tab group button in a new session after computer reboot. The tab groups were created in separate windows. Both tab groups were named. Is there a save procedure I missed?

App tabs and Tab Groups (Panorama) are stored as part of the session data in the file sessionstore.js in the Firefox Profile Folder

Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Browsing History" if Firefox is closed.

It wasn't a browsing history issue. It was Secunia. they don't recognize a firefox 4 update. their blog shows they have a lot of firefox 3 issues. Secunia has an auto update that attempted to update firefox 3 after I already installed firefox 4. Firefox blocked this but I think this erased my tab groups and my pinned tab. I turned off their auto update. thanks for your interest
