When I shutdown my computer, it is like firefox 4 throws away my previous session, so when I turn it back on, I get a new session.
I have a Dell computer, with windows 7, and every time I close out of Firefox, shut my computer down, and turn it back on later, I will click on Firefox, and it will not open on the first click, (I use tabs on the bottom tool bar of my computer) and I will have to click it again to get it to open, and it opens a new session. How do I fix this? Because it is extremely frustrating to open up 6 tabs everyday, and resign in on 4 of those 6 everyday. It really makes me want to go back to internet explorer.

Make sure that you do not use any cleanup programs like CCleaner to clear files in the Firefox Profile Folder
Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Browsing History" if Firefox is closed.
I haven't cleared recent history, and I checked, and I do not use CCleaner or any other cleanup programs that I am aware of. I am wondering if it has something to do with the fact that I have to click on my Firefox tab twice for it to open once. By that I do not mean the desktop tab, but the tab bar at the bottom of the screen.
This can also be a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Profile Folder
Delete sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Profile Folder
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
You will have to redo App Tabs and Tab Groups after deleting sessionstore.js.

I did that, it didn't work either. =/ I don't mind redoing app tabs, not too hard, a few clicks, but going back to each website every time I turn off my laptop is a little ridiculous. If there is anything else you know on how to possibly fix this, it would be greatly appreciated, and I thank you for your help thus far.
