my firefox crashes while im watching high quality flv videos i have uninstalled and reinstall the flash player plugin twice and my IE browser has no problems when i watch videos there, in short my pc has no failing chips as i use hp total toolbar care kit to check my hardware and it says its all good, so my question is why dose my firefox crashes just as much now than before i upgraded from firefox 3.6?

Try running Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.

interestingly enough i changed the browser.sessionstore.interval from 15000 to 300000 in my about:config and firefox reverts back to working like it should no more hangs or crashes at least so far and its been 24 hours now but caution if you use this tweak might hurt Firefox's crash recovery but thanks for that tip
